Formed as an acoustic offshoot of the New Lazy Boys,  The Too Lazy Boys explore traditional roots music with influences from Blues, Bluegrass and Broadway. Some country, jazz and rock and roll find their way in to the "Boys" music also,Chris and Rod are performing as a duo at coffee houses, festivals, farmers markets and local brew pubs. We are working on additional original material, and hope to have a second cd available soon. Check us out when we are in your area. A common scene at one of our daytime shows is a mosh pit of 3 to 5 year olds  who are grooving to our rootsy rhythms.

Decades of musical influence provide the base upon which the sound of the Too Lazy Boys is developed. Not content to be confined to any one musical genre, the "Boys" take elements of many different types of music to forge a sound of their own.

We're not in it for the fame or the money, [haven't seen much of either one of those], we just want to be your favorite blue collar band. We're having a good time and invite you to join us.

For those looking for Kate Skwire and the Too Lazy Boys; Kate has now formed her own band called, Kate Skwire and the Cut. For information about that project, please see kateskwire.com and Kate Skwire and the Cut on facebook.
